If we exclude lighter processor Defy Mini is much better than Galaxy Y and it comes with better and larger screen,better camera,more RAM,better WiFi. But the processor of Defy Mini 600MHz while the processor or Galaxy Y is 800 MHz. Processor affects the performance a lot. So if you can compromise with screen quality and camera Galaxy Y is the best choice but if you love good screen with good resolution then you should go with Defy Mini.
